Freddies Christening!

Hello Everyone! So yesterday I had the privilege of being part of Freddies big day, celebrating his baptism with all of his lovely family and friends.

Freddies Christening took place at 1pm on Sunday the 4th of June at the renowned St Giles Parish Church, Wrexham. I absolutely love the church having visited on many occasions, but never as a photographer, so it was lovely to finally be able to photograph an event there! The grade 1 listed building is famous for being the largest medieval Parish church in Wales, with a tower reaching 135ft high. It was such a beautiful, sunny day as many gathered to join him. From experience, every baby has cried during their baptism that I have witnessed.. however, on this very rare and unusual occasion, Freddie slept through the whole thing and didn't bat an eyelid as the holy water was poured over his head three times before being passed around to his godparents and parents! After his baptism we joined at the Wrexham Centenary Club, everyone was thoroughly enjoying themselves, the little ones were having a boogie whilst the parents gathered to socialise.. Freddie, still sleeping! He eventually was woken up at 3pm so we could get some lovely group shots of him, and here are the images below, I hope you love them as much as I do! GMD x
