I, Gabrielle Davies, Have over 5 years photographic experience and qualifications. Beginning in the industry in 2011 and establishing a business in 2016 after deciding to take self employment and creating a new studio.
My work was published in 3 News Paper Articles in 2017 to present, and I have featured on three Radio Interviews with Calon Fm, publishing my Charity & Community work that I have offered since opening up my business in 2016, to read more about my latest project please see the bottom paragraph.

I have always been a creative person. When I was younger, I was the one who ended up drawing the other pupils' story boards in primary school because I was brilliant at Art, and would always win the art competitions in school!
Growing up, I went on to studying Art GCSE, followed by A Levels at college in: Textiles, Media, Psychology and Photography.

It was when I got to college that the Photography side really kicked in. I began the year actually studying Art and dropped the subject for Photography as I wanted to be creative in another way.

Within weeks, everything just escalated and the next thing I knew I was in love with creating theatrical make up styled shots, inspired by Rankin.

I went on to studying Fashion Communication at Liverpool John Moores University.  I was always getting to class early, staying until the building closed and would find myself sat in the studio on days off - creating some eyelashes out of leaves or at the laser cutter creating something new for my next shoot,

Producing work and self directed projects for the likes of WGSN, Bloom Magazine, Cath Kidston and designed catwalk hair/make-up/accessories for Julien Fournie, Junya Watanabe, Iris Van Herpen.

Alongside University, I was working with the likes of Sane Seven photography, GBS Sports, LOOK International Photography Festival, Vogue ball, LJMU Graduate Fashion Show and Charities including: The British Heart Foundation,  C.A.L.M, Alzheimers Charity, Raising for Dakota and UCL Dementia Research.

Today, I cover all aspect of photography from Newborn, Family, Weddings to Fashion, Beauty & Commercial. I cover a lot of Charity work and have just set up a Campaign Shoot Project that will continue for the remainder of 2018, which is working with the Young Carers Wrexham Group and aims to boost young teens confidence and preventing bullying, creating a sense of community where the children can come together to have fun whilst learning new skills from my work shops.
